Join United WE on November 20 for a virtual research release to announce findings from a new study on childcare licensing in the state of Missouri. United WE commissioned research with the Institute of Public Policy at the University of Missouri about the childcare licensing process and challenges that may interfere with adequate access to childcare and potential solutions to improve the situation.
During the webinar, we will:
Describe current child care demand and supply in Missouri
Describe the child care licensing process at the state and local level and identify challenges
Offer policy and practice considerations to improve the initial childcare licensing process as a strategy to increase access to childcare
Additionally, as part of the National Women’s Entrepreneur Childcare Initiative, United WE commissioned a nationwide research study to examine the regulatory burden faced by childcare providers in the 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
