This virtual town hall is a part of a statewide series of inspiring gatherings designed to hear meaningful input, stories, and insights from women in Arkansas on the key factors and barriers impacting women's labor force participation. Meaningful discussions will include but are not limited to conversations around caregiving, occupational licensing, entrepreneurship, paid family leave, access to healthcare and much more. All state and local leaders and community residents are encouraged to attend.

United WE, with support from Walton Philanthropy Group, commissioned a research project through the Office for Education Policy at University of Arkansas to better understand how the child care licensing process is working for providers across the state.
Join us for a virtual press conference on Wednesday, October 29 at 9:30 a.m., as we uncover new findings that will inform policy recommendations aimed at strengthening the licensing process to better serve Arkansas women, children, and families.
