United WE commissioned researchers from the College of Education and Human Sciences and the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University to explore barriers to childcare access in Oklahoma. On November 12, United WE will host a virtual research release to announce findings from the study to provide a clear picture of the barriers childcare providers face when going through the licensing process. The report findings will illustrate significant strengths and opportunities for growth in the delivery of quality childcare experiences for Oklahoma’s children.
Additionally, as part of the National Women’s Entrepreneur Childcare Initiative, United WE commissioned a nationwide research study to examine the regulatory burden faced by childcare providers in the 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
