WOMEN'S FOUNDATION APPOINTMENTS PROJECT CONTINUES TO DELIVER RESULTS
Kansas City, MO – The Women’s Foundation today announced another Appointments Project success story as Mayor Sly James appointed Tiffany D. Hogan to the Kansas City Board of Zoning Adjustment. The Women’s Foundation promoted Hogan through their Appointments Project, which has partnered with Mayor James to address the gender gap in city leadership positions.

“Tiffany Hogan will be a great addition to the Kansas City Zoning Adjustment Board and Women’s Foundation is pleased to have provided support to her through the Appointments Project,” said Wendy Doyle, President and CEO of Women’s Foundation. “Thanks again to Mayor James for his continued partnership with us as we empower more women to serve on boards and commissions.”
“Tiffany’s legal experience on a wide variety of complex matters has given her experience that will serve her well on the Board of Zoning Adjustment," said Mayor Sly James. "The Women’s Foundation has been a great partner with my office in identifying qualified persons to serve on city boards and commissions, and Tiffany is great example.”
Tiffany D. Hogan is the Managing Attorney at Hogan Law, LLC, where she advises clients on civil and small business matters. She is a member of both the Kansas and Missouri Bar and serves as President of the Jackson County Bar Association. In the past, Tiffany has received several honors including the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers – Outstanding Service Award and was nominated for Next Gen Leaders in 2014. Tiffany earned her B.B.A. in Marketing and Management at Mercer University and her J.D. from Washburn University School of Law.

The Women’s Foundation Appointments Project serves as a talent bank, advisor, and advocate for women seeking opportunities to lead and works to attract diverse applicants for appointed positions on boards and commissions. The Women’s Foundation guides women through the process of applying for these positions.
Fifteen women have been appointed to boards and commissions in Missouri through the Appointments Project since its launch in the spring of 2014. The Appointments Project is currently active in helping recruit and train more women to serve on boards and commissions for the State of Missouri, City of St. Louis and Kansas City, Missouri.
